I’m planning to pick up the anime version when it’s released on DVD (Bandai announced the license recently) and I’ll probably pick up the manga version too. Maybe not right away but I doubt I’ll avoid it.
I just hope the light novels keep coming.

Excellent news! I’ll probably buy it as soon as it comes out (pre-order if possible).
Agree on the light novels. They cannot come out soon enough. Two volumes a year is not enought.

Oh God. Please smite all those responsible for this video clip. I almost threw up because it hurt so much to listen to the slaughtering of pronunciation of names and such. It’s like an rural-Alabama(no offense Alabama) local weather reporter trying to say the name of the volcano erupting in Iceland.

O….kaay. A weird delivery system for the news, but then the entire Haruhi franchise is weird, so I guess it fits?

Oh god, I was having trouble not screaming at my computer from all the horrible pronunciation form the actors. Seriously, how hard is it to pronounce a Japanese name correctly? Let me tell you: not very hard.
On another note, I have the Japanese volumes of this manga and I’ll be sure to buy this when it comes out in English too. Anything Haruhi is welcomed.
